Timeline from Sign-Up to Sign the Documents

Day 0 - 1: Legacy Refresh Session - 20-minute Zoom consultation to confirm update scope and collect 50% of the fee 

Day 1: Document Audit & Asset Review: We review your current will, trust, POAs, deeds, and beneficiary statements

Day 2: Draft Amendments & New POAs - We prepare amendments, including new tax and guardianship clauses, as needed

Day 3: Draft Delivery - You receive clean drafts [PDFs] with margin notes or other explanation of changes

Day 4: Client Q&A /Revision Call: 30 minute Zoom to clarify feedback, minor edits made same day

Day 5: Final Attorney Review - Final review of the documents for conflict/consistence check; locks documents in for signing

Day 6-7: Documents are provided to you with instructions for signing ; funding memo lists your accounts and deeds to retitle

We do not have an attorney-client relationship until after you sign our engagement letter and pay the required amount at sign-up. 

Do I have to redo my whole trust?

Often an amendment will work; we will confirm this during our call.

Yes, except for recording costs for deed retitles (quoted separately)

Yes, online notarization is available in Florida and we can arrange for this service (not included in the flat-fee)

Because our turn-around on these documents is so quick, once we have payment we start working. Refunds generally will not be available on this service; except for any unearned portions of the fee based upon our progress at the time of notification.
